ABOUT STEP

The STEP consortium was established in 2021 to enhance the resilience of institutions and vulnerable communities in cyclone-prone coastal regions of Bangladesh through effective Disaster Risk Management governance. The consortium comprises four international agencies, two strategic partners, and three implementing partners, and is focused on implementing forecast-based anticipatory actions to mitigate the impact of cyclones and associated hazards.
