ABOUT STEP
The STEP consortium was established in 2021 to enhance the resilience of institutions and vulnerable communities in cyclone-prone coastal regions of Bangladesh through effective Disaster Risk Management governance. The consortium comprises four international agencies, two strategic partners, and three implementing partners, and is focused on implementing forecast-based anticipatory actions to mitigate the impact of cyclones and associated hazards.
This consortium has been funded by the European Union Humanitarian Aid, however, the views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Commission.
