The coastal communities of Bangladesh have been fighting with devastating cyclones for decades. Every year, cyclones lead to loss of lives, livelihoods and destructions of homes. To prevent and reduce cyclone induced damage and loss of life, STEP project, with funding support from ECHO, has developed a radio drama series for the communities living in Khulna and Barisal. These contextual and engaging dramas were developed in their respective local dialects. They are being broadcasted through local radio channels to raise awareness on Cyclone related early actions.
